Genetec Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, President, and CEO: Kenji Ueno, hereinafter referred to as “Genetec”) and BIRD INITIATIVE Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo, President, and CEO: Seiko Kitase, hereinafter referred to as “BIRD”) By integrating BIRD's AI technology into the 3D simulation software "FlexSim," for which Genetec is the sole distributor in Japan, we have created a new solution, "iPerfecta," that enables high-accuracy and high-speed digital twin modeling and hypothesis verification. We have jointly developed ``FlexSim'' and will start selling it as an add-on function for FlexSim from October 25, 2021.
Through the joint development of "iPerfecta," BIRD, and "FlexSim," a discrete event analysis 3D simulation software that is used in 81 countries around the world and has earned the industry's top evaluation* in terms of functionality, versatility, and operability. Cutting-edge AI technology is seamlessly connected, making it possible to quickly build sophisticated digital twins and test hypotheses using less data than before. The name "iPerfecta" comes from the meaning of "Intelligent Perfecter".

In addition, Genetec will begin domestic sales from today as the distributor, aiming to sell 300 licenses in five years. We will develop a sales system that can be utilized by the manufacturing and logistics industries that are expanding globally, both domestically and overseas.
Genetec and BIRD will continue to improve the quality of "iPerfecta" and contribute to the promotion of manufacturing and logistics DX, as well as advance development to expand into social fields beyond the industrial field, such as smart cities and mobility. I will continue to do so.
