With the proliferation of self-driving labs, the realization of experiment and manufacturing environments without human intervention makes it possible to fundamentally reconsider the "oxygen-present environment" that has traditionally been premised on human activity — enabling the design of entirely new processes built on the assumption of oxygen-free or low-oxygen environments.
This presentation will explore what changes such environments will bring to the advancement of high-performance materials and the efficiency of drug discovery and biotechnology research — and will look ahead, from the perspective of investment and new business creation, at what kinds of new industries and investment opportunities will emerge from them.
