I am Konno, the CEO of BIRD INITIATIVE.
We transform the “hidden technologies” dormant in large corporations into catalysts for growth, operating as a startup studio that continuously creates new businesses. Not just a consulting firm, we also have an in-house development team, providing end-to-end support from MVP development to fundraising and exit strategies. As a “hands-on producer team,” we drive the commercialization of new ventures. Masashi Takagi
After working on the design of the Business Development Division at NEC and overseeing the monetization and sale of multiple businesses, founded Carve out Studio® at BIRD INITIATIVE. Supports the creation of startups originating from large corporations, achieving three carve-outs along with fundraising and independent operation within two years.

Taku Nishimura
After obtaining a Master’s degree in Technology Management (Professional), engaged in process control and global production strategy at a semiconductor manufacturing equipment company. After joining NEC in 2015, gained diverse experience in new business development, including talent development and business development support.

Satoshi Goto
CTO / System Architect / Tech Lead Developed NoCode tools and SAP Add-ons in Japan. After obtaining a U.S. H1B visa, worked on exchange trading systems and trader systems for the U.S. market. Later served as Tech Lead / Architect at Rakuten Singapore, leading search engine and browser development. Currently leads BIRD’s technology while guiding offshore development teams.

Keiji Yamada
An expert in end-to-end development, from foundational technology R&D in AI/IoT/ICT to commercialization. Leads the design of future societies as well as technology and business development strategies through backcasting. Has designed and developed Smart City solutions across the globe. Also serves as an advisor to JST and RIKEN. Has held visiting professorships at institutions including UC San Diego and Nara Institute of Science and Technology, and has served as a board member of academic societies in Japan and abroad. Holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Kyoto University.

Shuichi Hiroya
An expert in managing IT and web marketing companies. Held positions including President of Cyberwing, President of Criteria Communications, President of Luxwise, and founder of a robotics venture, after working at NEC Laboratories. Specializes in business development utilizing robotics and AI, as well as digital marketing and e-commerce development. Holds a Master’s degree in Information Engineering from Tokushima University and was a Visiting Researcher in Computer Science at Stanford University.
